About Mutty

Mutty was the brainchild of Tash and her dog Doc Holliday. Tash would take Doc out for walks in Brooklyn, and Doc—being the socialable guy he is—constantly made friends. Tash wanted to cultivate Doc's social life, but was skiddish about giving her phone number out to strangers. Thus, the idea for Mutty was born.

In the fall of 2021, Tash told her idea to her best friend, Jon, who just happened to be an app developer with 15 years of experience. Jon also happened to be between gigs, so he jumped at the opportunity to make what he felt was the most wholesome app idea he'd ever heard.

After months of work, Mutty finally went live in the Spring of 2022, and the rest is history.
